About Me
I'm so glad you found this space. I'd like to tell you about me, and how I can help you.
I've always been drawn to a support role. In my professional life, I've spent 15 years in the nonprofit space, focused on mission-driven work both in the United States and in India — from access to drinking water and sanitation, to the prevention of blindness, to girls' empowerment. In these roles I got to be alongside those who were the most marginalized, who didn't have resources or access and needed guidance and support. In 2021, I started my own local mentorship program for South Asian teen girls where over 20 young women received direct mentoring support from South Asian women like me.
I enjoy facilitating workshops and gatherings like listening circles with intergenerational audiences. Through these gatherings i've been able to lead groups through visualizations, meditations, intention-setting, and hard questions. However my favorite gathering to be in is a gathering of two, where I and the person with me can be our most authentic and vulnerable selves. Through many 1-1 conversations with community members, I have been able to learn more about myself and the struggles we all face especially in grief and death.
I consider it sacred to be in a space of sharing with another person. When someone shares their vulnerability with me, I see it as the highest honor — that they're willing to let their guard down and bring me into their world. It ties directly into my own values of collective liberation, trust, personal growth, and connection.
I hope you will find me to be of great accompaniment in your life journey as you navigate grief, death, and dying.
